Account Executive – Payments & Platforms
For our client, a European open banking platform based in Stockholm, we are looking for an Account Executive based in London.
The Job
As Account Executive you will be the expert in open banking and transformation through which banks and financial institutions go. Your main responsibility will be to build an extensive customer portfolio in the UK market and spearhead innovation for our client’s partners.
Day-to-Day

Build and expand the customer portfolio by driving sales activities in the UK

Create and nurture a strong network and become a trusted advisor to leading financial institutions and FinTech companies

Through the network building, you will create ambassadors for our client

Lead workshops and meetings with key customers to identify consumer needs and match them with offerings

Plan and drive the entire sales process from initial contact to the contract signature

Attend and speak at conferences and events
Required Skills

A university degree in a relevant field – e.g. Business Administration, Finance or Engineering

At least 5 years of work experience

Ability to manage senior client contacts

Experience in finance, tech or other complex environments

Preferably background in Business Development at a SaaS/(fin)tech company

Experience in managing contract negotiations

Ability to adapt to different stakeholders and strong people skills

Strong verbal and written communication skills and excellent presentation skills, fluent in English
