Blue Team Security Engineer (m/f/d)

Berlin, Hannover, Hamburg, Stuttgart, Leipzig


We are looking for experienced Security Engineers for a German Cybersecurity client with over 60 years of market presence.

Core responsibilities:

Security Strategy: Development, implementation, and monitoring of Blue Teaming strategies to identify and defend against security threats.

Network Security: Securing corporate networks and systems through proactive monitoring and analysis of security breaches.

Vulnerability Management: Identification of vulnerabilities in IT infrastructure, conducting penetration tests, and implementing measures to eliminate security gaps.

Incident Response: Swift response to security incidents, investigating security breaches, and developing countermeasures.

Collaboration: Close collaboration with the Red Team to identify security gaps and vulnerabilities, developing measures to enhance security.

Training and Awareness: Training employees in security awareness and security procedures.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • English and German language fluency
  • Completed degree in computer science, information security, or a comparable qualification.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in information security or as a Security Engineer, preferably in the Blue Teaming field.
  • In-depth knowledge of network security, vulnerability management, intrusion detection systems, and Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) tools.
  • Experience in applying security standards and policies such as ISO 27001 or ISA/IEC 62443.
  • Certifications such as CompTIA Sec+ or equivalent credentials are advantageous.
