Our client a well known Unicorn in the Payments space is looking for their next Sales superstar to scale their DACH presence. Does that sound like you ?

Based in Munich, Berlin or fully remote !!


Your opportunity:

As our new Business Development Manager you will be part of our Client's Sales team in Munich or Remotely in Germany. Focusing on medium and large web shops with complex needs. This requires C-level and in-depth sales conversations.

You have full ownership of the sale cycle. From creation, nurturing, engaging the leads and understanding their pain point to create a compelling commercial proposal that fits their business needs perfectly. Your ultimate objective is to expand our customer base into the medium and large size segment and turn your newly signed customers into strong Mollie ambassadors. You will be working closely with the Head of Business Development and VP of DACH. 

The e-commerce market is booming & the online payments industry is experiencing the biggest growth. 

What you'll be doing:


  • You will be responsible for targeting new customers in Germany

  • You will convert inbound leads >€1m/year volume

  • You will oversee the boarding of the largest customers (working with onboarding specialist)

  • You will be collaborating with onboarding and risk early on in the sales process to speed up the process and optimise conversion while managing risk.

  • You will coordinate with partners and different stakeholders both at the client side, internally and third parties to speed up the integration to get the customers live

  • You will be charged with reporting and discussing performance through available dashboards and funnel management. You’ll use your analytical skills to understand the market and create an adapted strategy. 

What you'll bring:


  • You have 1-3 years of experience selling technical solutions to business customers. Experience with payments, e-commerce or SaaS solutions is a plus.

  • You are a strong relationship builder, you are transparent, honest & understand a consultative sales approach.

  • You have a strong number- and target-focused approach.

  • You are fluent in German & comfortable interacting in English. We kindly ask you to not apply to this position if you are not fluent in German. This a must have!
