Business Development Manager – Berlin, Germany (German-speaking)


Our client is a leading open-banking company that provides instant payments via an ever-growing and seamlessly interlinked global network. Now at a key point in the company’s growth trajectory, our client is looking to bring on board a Business Development Manager to drive further growth in the DACH market. 



As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for establishing new connections and relationships that lead to new business for the company.

  • Engage with relevant stakeholders and connections in order to identify opportunities within your assigned vertical.

  • Build trustworthy and strong business relationships by developing and maintaining a sales pipeline including thorough forecasting activities.

  • Understand prospects’ and existing clients’ business, including their needs and challenges.

  • Work across the business to bring clients through the end-to-end sales process until close.

  • Negotiate and close contracts with new customers.



  • 2+ years experience in a B2B sales/business development role within payments/fintech.

  • Self-starter with commercial drive and high motivation to succeed.

  • Familiarity and interest in open-banking.

  • Ability to work with deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

  • Willingness to grow and learn with the company, while demonstrating a team mentality that thrives in a start-up environment.
