Business Development Manager – Berlin, Germany (German-speaking)
Our client is a leading open-banking company that provides instant payments via an ever-growing and seamlessly interlinked global network. Now at a key point in the company’s growth trajectory, our client is looking to bring on board a Business Development Manager to drive further growth in the DACH market.
Day-to-day:
As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for establishing new connections and relationships that lead to new business for the company.

Engage with relevant stakeholders and connections in order to identify opportunities within your assigned vertical.

Build trustworthy and strong business relationships by developing and maintaining a sales pipeline including thorough forecasting activities.

Understand prospects’ and existing clients’ business, including their needs and challenges.

Work across the business to bring clients through the end-to-end sales process until close.

Negotiate and close contracts with new customers.
Requirements:

2+ years experience in a B2B sales/business development role within payments/fintech.

Self-starter with commercial drive and high motivation to succeed.

Familiarity and interest in open-banking.

Ability to work with deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Willingness to grow and learn with the company, while demonstrating a team mentality that thrives in a start-up environment.
