Consumer Data Tech Manager

 

For our client, a Dutch designer clothing brand, we looking for a Consumer Data Tech Manager based in Amsterdam or willing to relocate.

 

The Job

 

As Consumer Data Tech Manager you will be driving growth and stability of the consumer data and marketing technology platforms by means of providing the DIgital roadmap. 

You will be part of the Tech team and lead the technical resources that focus on the improvement of consumer data. Furthermore, you will invent consumer data innovations, new ways of working and stay up to date on industry best practices.

 

Day-to-Day

  • Design, present and implement digital consumer data technology strategies to meet CRM, digital marketing, analytics and eCommerce requirements supporting short and long-term business needs

  • Manage consumer data-related tech operations and services to meet digital, IT and Marketing requirements – focus on short and long-term needs

  • Lead the consumer data tech suppliers and their developers, spec writers, testers and involved vendors to increase the speed of project deliveries.

  • Coordinate the management, monitoring, and improvement of both existing and new consumer data-related initiatives and processes including change management, release management and incident management.

 

Required Skills

 

  • University degree in Computer Science/software engineering or IT-focused Business Administration or similar field

  • 5+ years of Project and Program management with agile and digital projects

  • You’re communicative, adaptable, pro-active, motivating, providing direction

  • Very hands-on cooperating at working level, yet also capable to communicate at stakeholder level

  • Knowledge within an eCommerce environment with a clear understanding of the metrics that drive online and marketing performance

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, project and change management expertise

  • Proven experience with managing remote and offshore agile supplier teams

  • Experience with Bloomreach Exponea, Salesforce Service Cloud, Datawarehousing, GCP big data lakes, cloud integration, Sprinklr, Google Analytics, GTM or using similar tools preferred

  • At least 2 years of hand-on experience with key customer insights, analysis and customer journeys, preferably in combination with a CDP

  • Strong understanding of CRM and Digital Marketing in a direct-to-consumer context

  • Proven track record of working on business transformation projects within complex technical and cultural environments

  • Experience in the areas of XaaS, Cloud and Analytics

  • Excellent planning skills

  • Strong team player
