Digital Content Specialist – Netherlands (Dutch Speaking)

As a Digital Content Specialist, you will be responsible for creating and optimising engaging digital content across various platforms to enhance our client’s online presence and drive brand awareness. This role requires a combination of strategic thinking, content creation skills and a deep understanding of digital marketing trends.

Responsibilities as a Digital Content Specialist: 

As a Digital Content Specialist, your day-to-day tasks will contain:

  • Content Creation: Produce diverse, high-quality digital content (blog posts, articles, social media posts, infographics, videos) in line with the brand’s style
  • Content Optimisation: Optimise digital content for SEO, ensuring discoverability and improved search engine rankings. Stay updated on SEO best practices
  • Platform Management: Manage and update content across digital platforms (websites, blogs, social media) while maintaining consistent messaging and branding
  • Audience Engagement: Develop strategies to boost audience interaction with digital content. Monitor and respond to comments and messages promptly
  • Analytics and Reporting: Use analytics tools to track and analyze digital content performance. Provide regular reports for campaign effectiveness and identify areas for improvement
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams (marketing, design, product) to ensure messaging and strategy alignment

Qualifications/Required Skills for an ideal Digital Content Specialist:

An ideal candidate for the Digital Content Specialist role will need to meet most of these requirements:

  • Digital Marketing Experience: Proven experience in digital content creation and management. Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) and digital marketing tools
  • Creativity: Exceptional creative and storytelling skills. Ability to think outside the box and develop content that resonates with the target audience
  • SEO Knowledge: Understanding of SEO principles and experience in optimizing content for search engines
  • Analytical Skills: Proficient in using analytics tools to track performance metrics and derive insights for optimization
  • Tech-Savvy: Comfortable with various digital tools and platforms. Graphic design or video editing skills are a plus
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to adapt the tone and style of content to different platforms and audiences
  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field
