Country Manager & Senior Account Executive France

Our client, a leading platform in the event industry, is seeking a highly motivated and dynamic individual to join their team as a Country Manager & Sales Account Executive based in France. This platform offers event organisers a seamless and efficient solution for selling tickets across various event types. With a focus on simplifying the ticketing process, they provide a comprehensive range of services and features encompassing online ticket sales, robust event management tools, and exceptional customer support.

The Job

As the Country Manager & Senior Account Executive in France, you will assume a multifaceted role encompassing sales development, customer relationship management, and overall operational oversight. Your primary responsibilities will include driving sales growth, cultivating strong relationships with new and existing customers, and effectively managing all company operations within the French market. Leading and guiding the sales team will also be a critical aspect of your role as you play a pivotal role in the business's expansion and growth in the region. 

Day-to-Day

  • Identify and engage potential customers, progressing from initial demos to final onboarding.

  • Utilise tools to streamline contract negotiation and conclusion processes.

  • Facilitate a smooth handover of clients to the customer success team and document relevant information in HubSpot.

  • Maintain customer relationships and lead contract renewal negotiations when necessary.

  • Manage employees in the country, overseeing recruitment, fostering a positive work environment, and establishing local partnerships.

  • Report directly to the CCO and CEO, developing a suitable strategy aligned with our client's global objectives.

  • Monitor financial metrics, including P&L and budget, while also considering non-financial indicators.

  • Drive expansion and growth plans for the region, actively participating in sales, guiding sales development and account managers, and personally closing deals.

Required Skills 

  • Demonstrated track record in the events and/or festival industry, either as an event organiser or marketing manager.

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a sales role, with a passion for sales and a strong sales aptitude.

  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities, capable of effectively showcasing software solutions.

  • Proficient negotiation skills and experience in successfully closing contracts.

  • Fluency in both French and English (Business English B1 level).

  • Knowledge of the ticketing sector is advantageous.
