Credit Risk Manager (Underwriter)
For our client, a German Banking-as-a-Service platform which helps customers with providing financial products and services, we are looking for a Credit Risk Manager (Underwriter).
The Job
As Credit Risk Manager, you will be part of the Credit Risk team and pursue the establishment of automated, data-driven and scalable risk management systems. Your main responsibilities will be the standardization of partner onboarding processes, improvement of products and enhancement of KPIs.
Day-to-Day

Conduct credit and financial analysis of borrowers in the SME sector

Recommend and employ decisions on credit transactions in line with risk policies

Support the analysis and execution of more complex, non-standard credit transactions

Take an active part in the further innovation and automation of processes

Coordinate communication with internal stakeholders
Required Skills
-
At least 10 years of experience in the analysis of credit risks – bank or fintech company

Experience with lending products, process setup and loan documentation processes, credit risk management and/or credit structuring

Completed university degree in the field of finance, economics, business administration or similar, or prove of an apprenticeship in a bank

German language skills are a huge plus – French, Italian or Spanish are a plus

Attention to detail, solution-oriented mindset, flourishment in a high degree of autonomy and prioritizing work are important qualities
