Customer Retention Manager

For our client, one of Europe’s leading companies in the payments and transactional services industry, we are looking for a Customer Retention Manager. Our client’s global scope and commitment to innovation enable them to solve technological challenges for industrial companies, banks, merchants and government agencies in all sectors.


The Job

As Customer Retention Manager you will be responsible to ensure long-lasting customer relationships to guarantee constant and stable profitable growth. The client’s innovation strategy strongly benefits from retaining existing customers which will make you a highly valuable asset. 



  • Evaluate and monitor the churn rate through all sales channels and stages

  • Monitor customer complains and connect them to the current churn rate

  • Utilise data to predict upcoming churn rates

  • Develop loyalty programs to retain customers 

  • Tailor retention campaigns to the customer lifecycle

  • Explore opportunities for cross-selling and upselling

Required Skills


  • A masters degree in a related field

  • 5+ years of relevant experience

  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills 

  • Fluency in English as well as one additional language

  • Focused and actionable approach to responsibilities 

  • Team player & motivator
