Strategic Account Executive

We are searching for a Strategic Account Executive based in London, England, for one of our clients who offer multi-bank supply chain finance services to buyers and suppliers globally. Our client connects the entire supply chain by automating digital payments as a pioneer in international B2B payments. They specialize in data-driven, technology-enabled solutions for on-time and early payments, such as accounts receivable finance, dynamic discounting, and supply chain finance.

The Job

As a Strategic Account Executive headquartered in London, you will directly influence the business's revenue. By directly approaching potential clients, this job will be in charge of finding new business deals and managing the buyer's supply chain finance program. This position will oversee both internal and client-side resources to advance the program's objectives and carry them out. By maintaining the client connection to sustain and maximize the program, this function is also accountable for locating and unearthing expansion prospects within their allocated client relationships.

Day-to-Day

  • Increase brand recognition for the business in the designated market of clients, partners, and prospects

  • Cultivate connections with essential decision-makers in the designated accounts

  • OWN the area for your named account

  • Acquire and keep up-to-date technical and marketing understanding of the available software and services

  • Determine the contract or engagement's pricing in accordance with corporate policies

  • Create, exchange, and keep comprehensive knowledge of all major competitors 

  • Update the contact management information system daily

  • Attend relevant industry conferences, both internal and external

  • Generate and keep up-to-date records of all opportunities and assigned accounts for the salesforce

Required Skills 

  • 5+ years of effective corporate sales with a history of exceeding quotas on revenue

  • Preferably with 5+ years of management consulting expertise

  • Expertise in sophisticated B2B sales, complex enterprise sales, and prior SaaS selling

  • Proof of interacting with C-suite and mid-level executives to form connections and make strategic decisions

  • Demonstrated aptitude for interpreting business requirements and value for clients
