Our client is among the leaders in the payment hardware sector. As part of its business expansion and to support its executive team in daily and occasional tasks, they are looking for a Personal Assistant / Executive Assistant to the CEO.

This position is available for a permanent contract, fully remote in Belgium. Proficiency in English is mandatory.

Job Objective:

Provide comprehensive administrative support to the executive team (CEO and direct C-Level reports), such as organizing events, expense approvals, and preparing presentations.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Effectively manage calendars to optimize time usage.
  • Schedule meeting times and associated travel, as well as accommodations.
  • Assist in producing correspondence, presentation materials, and internal communications for the executive team.
  • Manage local staff events.
  • Ensure appropriate and cost-effective travel and accommodation arrangements are made for executive team members.
  • Support the local office in its administrative needs.
  • Assist the executive team in occasional tasks such as SharePoint management, PowerPoint presentation preparation, document updates.
  • Assist the executive team in expense report creation.

Requirements:

  • 5 years of experience as a senior executive assistant.
  • Previous experience working in a confidential environment.
  • Highly proficient in computer skills and experience using all MS Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher).
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Excellent calendar management skills, including practical knowledge of Outlook.
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills.
  • Proven ability to multitask and shift priorities as needed by clients and colleagues while maintaining accuracy.
  • Must be a team player but also have the ability to effectively manage own time.
  • Ability to identify issues and the confidence to solve them or seek help when necessary.
  • Project management experience would be beneficial.
  • A certain sense of humor.
