Our client is one of the biggest producing companies in the area of the furniture industry worldwide and they are looking for their new Head of E-Commerce (Sales). As the Head of E-commerce (Sales) you will be the driver behind the creation of a global B2B-platform to further drive our client’s sales revenue of +1.5 billion euros.
Representing a cross-functional stakeholder between IT, product and sales you will build a business unit which will implement online retail strategies for more than 90 countries. If you have experience with Omni-channel strategies, E-Commerce and B2B sales you might be a great fit for this globally impactful challenge!

About the Head E-Commerce (Sales) position:

You are heading up the whole business unit of E-Commerce

You are responsible for developing and implementing a global strategy for the B2B E-Commerce division. This includes strategies for different countries/regions worldwide

You are making sure to achieve an optimal impact with new product launches, ensuring good revenue numbers

You are developing sales and marketing solutions to support sales for our customers

You are directly reporting into the Managing Director Sales

You are liaising and influencing cross-functionally within the senior management team, ensuring all stakeholders are engaged in E-Commerce activity, projects and strategy, and knowledge

You and your team are analysing marketing channels performance and provide guidance on future online investment

You are partnering with IT to provide guidance for E-Commerce platform and tool development, fostering first-class technical customer support.

You are building up a team and organization for E-Commerce, starting with the integration of all existing Sales E-Commerce-activities company-wide

You are responsible for E-Commerce turnover worldwide
Skills required for the Head of E-Commerce (sales) position:

Master Degree in Science / IT or business administration
-
High-affinity for E-Commerce-Business and all relevant trends and developments

Experience in E-Commerce, Omni-channel and B2B businesses for +5 years

Experience of leading a sales team

Have a track record of successfully growing online sales performance

Goal and action-orientated

Fluency in English and German is a must, French language skills are a plus
