Our client is pioneering the most flexible way to get a car or motorcycle online. Through their marketplace, members pay an all-inclusive monthly subscription for a car, earning valuable rewards over time based on their driving behaviour. They are ushering in a more flexible and simpler model for how people get cars in markets like Mexico and South Africa.


Set the strategy for and take ownership of the people experience including;

  • 70% of time spent sourcing & recruiting top talent for various roles across the organisation (sales, tech, product etc)
    • Understanding the current recruitment trends and your organisation’s markets to identify the impact upon the business
    • Anticipating the organisations’ future and working with senior executives to advise on recruiting tactics that will help to sustain the company’s success
    • Developing and implementing strategies to attract diverse candidates to all areas of the business
    • Identifying the organisation’s needs and working to create and implement an efficient talent acquisition strategy to improve recruitment and business performance
  • 30% of time strategizing and improving the people & culture aspects
    • Planning regular employee performance reviews and feeding back to the business
    • Monitoring and reporting on staff turnover rates
    • Developing and implementing employee retention programmes or strategies

  • Executive Committee – Incl head of departments, VPs, CTO and CEO
  • Hiring Managers & Team Leads

Requirements & Skills

  • Brilliant at influencing employees at all levels to support your strategies
  • Great interpersonal and motivational skills
  • Ability to be strategic and tactical when making decisions
  • Track record of sourcing and hiring top talent within a fast-paced technology company
  • No standing still – break the status quo and always be on the lookout for areas to make improvements
  • Effective communication – you are able to get everyone behind your idea
  • 5+ years experience in recruitment or related field
  • Familiar with performance management and relevant software
  • Experience delivering employee training programmes would be great
  • Understanding of labour legislation is a nice to have
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
