Our client is a Nordic based financial services company, currently expanding into wider Europe. Their large customer base, well-known owners and understanding of the industry give them the foundation to succeed. Their customers rely on you all to help them stay ahead of the competition by making life easier every day for their customers.

As Head of Product Management Payments, you will be responsible for leading and developing a Pan-European team of Product Managers, and you will have full responsibility for product management and product development initiatives as well as deliveries for projects. The product management team works in close cooperation with Tech, using scrum and agile methods, and the ideal candidate has both industry knowledge and technological insight.

Your key responsibilities are:

  • Lead and develop a high-performing team of Product Managers to run products that respond, and drive the market need and deliver on business targets
  • Develop and coach product managers into world-leading product leaders
  • Address customer and market needs through innovative, in-demand, products
  • Develop and deliver product strategy and product roadmaps
  • Bring in your industry knowledge and insights to further steer the product vision
  • Support and drive the development initiatives and project deliveries 
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders across Sales, Tech and Engineer
  • Actively engage with customers on their business and product strategies delivery
  • Have a sharp eye for market trends and competitive landscape to secure staying ahead of the market
  • Secure customer-centricity is the guiding principle 

Your professional qualifications include: 

  • You hold a relevant higher education at master degree level
  • You have a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience, with excellent results from product leadership 
  • You have experience with product development and implementation
  • Excellent understanding of the market, technology trends, and trends in customers behaviour and needs
  • You have firm, analytical, very commercially focused mindset coupled with strong overall business understanding
  • You are a team player with the ability to achieve results both on your own and through others
  • You have excellent communication and collaboration skills, at all levels of the organization
  • Your career is driven by curiosity and customer insights
