Our client is seeking an exceptional HR professional to take charge of developing their teams and activities in Latin America.
The job is based in Miami.
As a key member of their Regional Team, you’ll collaborate with HQ HR in Europe to provide expert guidance and oversight on HR activities, acting as a trusted advisor at every level in LATAM. You will also be responsible for a team of 5 professionals.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with program leaders and in-country representatives to develop and maintain HR systems, policies, and procedures compliant with local laws and organizational standards.
- Provide strategic HR guidance to support regional programs and projects, driving best practices in areas such as talent management, performance reviews, and compliance.
- Oversee HR operations in field offices, including recruitment, performance management, benefits administration, and legal compliance, ensuring seamless coordination with headquarters.
- Ensure contractual, financial, and legal compliance in local offices, while also managing recruitment and onboarding processes.
- Collaborate with HR partners to identify and address short and long-term HR needs, providing ongoing feedback on HR processes.
- Conduct training sessions on HR policies, procedures, and leadership development, fostering continuous growth and development.
- Maintain personnel files and ensure compliance with data protection regulations, including conducting routine audits to uphold high-quality HR practices.
- Work with Global HR Team to localize Employee Manuals and ensure compliance with local labor laws and organizational policies.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in management, business administration, law, human resources management, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of seven years of experience in global HR roles across Latin American countries, with expertise in talent acquisition, compensation & benefits, performance management, and compliance.
- Fluency in English and Spanish, with professional proficiency in oral, reading, and writing skills.
- Strong analytical skills, computer proficiency (especially in HR database management), and the ability to work autonomously in a multicultural environment.
- Demonstrated commitment to organizational values, along with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to handle confidential matters discreetly.
- Flexibility to travel throughout the region as needed.
