Junior Payments Specialist


For our client, one of Europe’s leading companies in the payments and transactional services industry, we are looking for a Jr. Payments Specialist. Our client’s global scope and commitment to innovation enable them to solve technological challenges for industrial companies, banks, merchants and government agencies in all sectors. 


The Job

As Junior Payments Specialist, you will be trained to handle tickets from clients / in-house monitoring and will learn everything about SEPA. Furthermore, you will be developed to handle incidents, follow up on root causes, improve processes, write reports for clients and prepare for changes.



  • Developing growing knowledge on the SEPA processing chain

  • Gaining the ability to determine the impact in case of incidents

  • (Re-)thinking and establishing countermeasures in cases of incidents

  • Managing incidents, problems and changes

  • Adhoc responsibilities 


Required Skills

  • University degree, ideally in an IT-related field

  • Fully proficient in English and Dutch language

  • Proactive and enthusiastic mindset

  • You are a born problem solver and have analytical skills

  • You are accurate and can also perform under pressure 

  • IT and data analytics make you happy

  • You are willing to learn and consider yourself coachable
