Team Lead – Key Account Sales
Our Dutch payments client is looking for an experienced Sales leader to join their Amsterdam team. This role will be responsible for a ‘people leadership’ position, where you will play a central part in maximizing the success of each member of the Sales team. With proven Sales and Leadership capabilities, your presence and experience will drive performance and boost growth.
About the role:
This is a sales and people management position. The role will report to the Chief Commercial Officer and will drive the individual and collective performance of a sales team of 10. You will organize, coach, and mentor this team to new heights by carrying out the following duties:

Drive the development, adoption and implementation of business development strategies, as well as sales opportunity plans & forecasts.

Be a mentor, motivator, and coach to the Key Account Sales Team.

Prioritize the individual and collective team development via performance reviews, new initiatives, and structural enhancements.
Required Experience:

People leadership experience of minimum 7 years, preferably within the payment industry.

Proven track record of leading high-performing sales teams in competitive markets.

Experience in setting clear performance expectations, conducting regular evaluations, and implementing strategies to improve individual and team performance.

Fluency in both Dutch and English
