As a Lead System Engineer, you will join the company’s Infrastructure and System Business Unit.
Thank your experience in Management and your technical competencies, you lead your Engineer Team and take ownership of client projects regarding System and Infrastructure.
Your key responsibilities are :
Keep up with constantly evolving information technology trends related to your scope of responsibility. Ensure the capacity and sufficient skills to support a group of applications.
Work proactively alongside other departments to achieve company goals and visions.
Closely work with the Architecture team and apply the given recommendations.
Provide guidance and defined procedures to the Technical Operations team, who will take charge of all recurrent tasks.
Jointly with the management, work on the service catalog definition related to the environment management and application support activities.
Ensure your team is providing the expected services, on time and within the agreed scope (for both – ongoing projects and existing clients).
Coordinate with colleagues working remotely, sometimes in a different time zone, in case of hybrid staffing on a project.
Conduct meetings, understand, and, if necessary, challenge the client’s requirements (final client or internal project team).
Organize the team, implement the processes to ensure optimal output, and implement the best practices.
Coach other team members and motivate them to produce desired results.
Perform regular appraisals of team members’ performance and devise strategies to help with improvement.
A Master’s Engineer Degree is the minimum required for this position.
8 years of experience in Systems and Infrastructure, a former experience of consulting is a plus.
You are client-oriented and you already have an experience in Team Management.
You are fluent in English, French is a plus.
Technical Skills :
Good transversal knowledge on:
- CI/CD (Git / Jenkins / JFrog)
- WildFly (JBoss)
- Bash / PowerShell scripting
- Cloud concept
- IT Security common sense.
