New Business Account Manager

 

For our client, one of the world's largest providers of electronic payment systems, we are looking for a New Business Account Manager.

 

The Job

 

As a New Business Account Manager you will be responsible for the revenue attached to the hunting process of small and medium businesses within a predefined area or sector in the retail and eCommerce industry. 

 

Day-to-Day

 

  • Generate, negotiate and close commercial agreements

  • Spearhead expansion in existing and new markets

  • Account management and inside / add-on business

  • Work and drive projects internally with different teams (project, pre-sales, marketing)

  • Drive peak performance and sales success across the organization

  • Take crucial part in devising and implementing strategy to meet sales performance targets

 

Required Skills

 

  • A passion for New Business and strong acquisition skills

  • Proven business development manager who is used to working to targets

  • Proven record in sales, business development and acquiring new business

  • Show an understanding of the challenges facing the industry 

  • Able to illustrate knowledge of the operational attention to detail that will be required to succeed within the industry

  • Excellent negotiator

  • Outstanding communication skills

  • Fluent in the English language
