Payment Partnerships Manager
For a dynamic startup creating an International Financial Service Platform for migrants, we are looking for a Payment Partnership Manager based in The Netherlands.
The Job
As Payment Partnerships Manager you will be responsible for the selection and implementation of new payment methods and coordination of external payment service providers.
Day-to-Day

Manage the relationship with payment service providers

Provide insight into creating a world-class payment platform globally and for all verticals

Ensure that the ever-evolving payment needs are supported

Expand internal projects to adjust payment capabilities to support new business lines, market expansions and changing regulatory requirements in the region

Identify improvement possibilities for payment services while communicating with product management and engineering teams effectively

Develop reports and dashboards to visualize insights at scale assisted by the Business Intelligence team

Drive issue and incident identification, business impact analysis and engage with a wider team for resolution

Monitor payment metrics and implement improvements to further improve

Partner with a range of cross-functional teams, to ensure open communications flow and alignment on priorities.

Ensure financial statement/reporting and payment regulation compliance

Work closely with product and engineering teams to ensure continuous improvements

Manage and drive escalations across internal and external stakeholders
Required Skills
-
3-5 years of experience working in the consumer payments domain – exposure to B2C, subscriptions, money remittance or online payments (global and local) industry is a plus

Knowledge of the payments processing industry including authorization, settlement, funding, chargebacks, interchange, card association rules/regulations, EMV, “X” Pay, tokenization, encryption, PCI DSS, digital payments, fraud, and current industry trends/challenges

Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with a strong ability to multi-task

Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities, ability to use data to quickly prioritize activities for alignment with business strategy

Cross-functional project management experience
