Product Owner Omnichannel 

For our client, a Dutch designer clothing brand that lives and breathes craftsmanship and brings it to the next level, we looking for a Product Owner Omnichannel based in Amsterdam or willing to relocate.

The job


As Product Owner Omnichannel you will strive to optimize all the steps that take place after a customer orders via the online system or another point-of-sales. You will be defining features and functionalities to serve customers in the best possible way. To do so, you will be interacting with many internal and external stakeholders.  


  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to define and agree upon features and functionalities required for expanding and optimizing the Customer Experience

  • Create strategies for integrating different (new) applications into the technological architecture

  • Track features and functionality in a standard way in the Product Backlog, using agile toolsets such as Jira and Confluence

  • Provide industry insight, innovation and relevant expertise that matches the needs of the end-user 

  • Communicate clear prioritization of the deliverables on the feature roadmap and assist with their sizing and clarification, informing and involving the relevant members of several teams

  • Provide regular feedback to all stakeholders on the backlog and sprint-achievements

  • Manage extensive testing of newly delivered stories and ensure they deliver the required outcome

  • Assess and report on the effectiveness of new features using analytics and reporting

  • eCommerce Customer Journeys, Projects and cross-functional initiatives

  • Create plans to drive forward offerings and create business cases for those

  • Develop and maintain successful internal and external business relationships (at senior level)


Required Skills


  • Degree with focus on Business Administration, Communication or IT or related areas, or equivalent combination of education and experience

  • At least 5 years of experience working in a Digital and/or eCommerce environment

  • A minimum of 3  years working as a Product Owner or product management related role

  • Experience of working with large scale, agile, high volume, real-time transaction-centric applications and digital infrastructure

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills at both technical and non-technical level

  • Experience with evaluating and managing third parties

  • Good working knowledge of eCommerce, Customer Support and Logistics systems and business requirements process

  • Understanding of and experience with complex integrations with ERP, CDP, CS systems like; SAP, SalesForce

  • Capable of translating functional requirements into Data Mapping and Interface Design Documents 

  • A strong passion for, and experience of working within omni-channel retail, preferably fashion, shoes or general apparel
