Regional Sales Manager – Benelux


For our client, a provider of financial services supporting small to medium businesses in mitigating the pitfalls and challenges associated with cross-border foreign exchange transfers and international payments, we are looking for a Regional Sales Manager.

The Job 

As Regional Sales Manager you will be targeting internationally operating mid-size companies and eCommerce merchants located in the Belgium market. You will be expending the Belgium client base by promoting the benefits of our client. Therefore, attracting, winning and onboarding new customers will be your key responsibilities. 


  • Originate new business and achieve commercial targets by managing various inbound & outbound lead channels and cooperating with internal stakeholders

  • Own the entirety of the end-to-end sales cycle 

  • Analyze market trends and developments, identify ideal customer profiles in target segments and develop a dynamic sales plan and initiate campaigns

  • Create relevant sales collateral and client facing documents

  • Establish and maintain a pipeline of new qualified leads

  • Nurturing and closing open sales opportunities

  • Manage deadlines and ensure deliveries are beyond expectation

  • Engage in marketing operations and events

  • Establish yourself as the go-to-person at events

  • Focus on client’s business objectives, challenges & needs and apply value-based selling

  • Utilize CRM tools (SFDC) to store customer data and log activities


Required Skills 


  • Fluency in Dutch and English (French as additional languages is a plus)

  • Keen to work with a predictable revenue model and value-based selling approach 

  • You are a true sales specialist, a (FX) payment expert and a likable sales professional

  • Proven track record of exceeding new business sales targets in B2B market

  • Strong payment experience with over 5 years of experience in e-commerce or international trade

  • Deep understanding of the cross-border payment ecosystem and FX products is an advantage 

  • You are focused, pro-active, engaged, disciplined, responsible and courageous in your role

  • Ability and intrinsic will to executing daily sales activities, building a healthy pipeline and achieving sales targets

  • Able to connect with the decision-making unit and win commitment 

  • Build networks with a clear understanding of stakeholders’ interests (internal & external)

  • You have an existing network of international SME-sized B2B traders in eCommerce (pre)

  • Excellent convincing communication and presentation skills (verbal & written)

  • Ability and willingness to work autonomously, remote and independently
