Relationship Manager – SME Dealing  (German Speaking)

 

For our client, a provider of financial services supporting small to medium businesses in mitigating the pitfalls and challenges associated with cross-border foreign exchange transfers and international payments, we are looking for a Relationship Manager.

The Job

As Relationship Manager you will be responsible for the portfolio management of small and medium sized businesses, ensuring excellent service and conversion of new customers and retention of existing clients.

Day-to-Day

  • Manage a specific B2B portfolio and strive to meet pre-set targets & KPI’s

  • Seek out new business referrals whilst cross selling and upselling the existing portfolio

  • Focus on deepening client relationships through active outbound and inbound calls

  • Providing relevant market updates, leading face to face client meetings and hosting client entertainment

  • Driving client satisfaction and retention and increasing revenue in a competitive market

  • Provide prospective and existing clients with support across online, payment and general queries as well as booking transactions over the phone resulting in an uplift in existing monthly transactions

  • Effectively manage stakeholders and build strong relationships across the business

  • Proactively share knowledge, experience, concerns, and ideas with the immediate and wider dealing team to enhance the customer experience and ensure all trades are compliant and the business is protected from unnecessary risk

  • Ensure existing and prospective clients know the provided solutions are used to full extend

  • Establish yourself as a brand ambassador, demonstrate energy, resilience and tenacity

Required Skills

  • Proven B2B relationship management experience (Great plus: experience in financial services, eCommerce or intern. trade)

  • Strong knowledge of client-management with a 'Customer First' mentality

  • Builds mutually beneficial relationships both internally and externally, demonstrates insightful communication skills and the confident ability to engage openly with people at all levels (including management)

  • Keeps abreast of industry and product advancements

  • Commercially focused

  • Evidence of a strong track record in hitting and exceeding targets on a monthly basis providing excellent customer service, demonstrating effective time management, monitors progress and measuring results against set KPI's

  • Accountable for processes, actions and decisions

  • Consistently delivers work to the required quality and proactively suggests ways in which to improve practices and policies to the benefit of WorldFirst and its clients

  • Ability to work under pressure and handle high workloads efficiently whilst supporting and contributing to the wider team goals

  • Brings a positive, ‘go for it’ attitude and is real team player who is always happy to work collaboratively and will back up any role or activity needed

  • Fluent in German and English
