Risk Decision Scientist
For our client, a rapidly-growing Barcelona-based start-up operating in the delivery service in Europe, Africa and Asia, we are looking for a Risk Decision Scientist. Eventually, our client aims to provide on-demand delivery infrastructure in every city in the world.
The Job
As Risk Decision Scientist, you will be working in close collaboration with the engineering and product team to drive innovation. You will be assisting in the development of new techniques to detect and counter fraudulent and malicious activities.
Day-to-Day

Utilise statistical tools to understand, analyse and investigate fraud & credit losses

Assist in the development of real-time decisioning and automated fraud detection

Develop and propose solutions to minimise the risk of fraud

Manage fraud detection tools

Employ experimentation (for example A/B testing) to mitigate fraud loss rates

Assist in improving machine learning currency and efficiency

Cash management and chargebacks
Required Skills

Bachelor of Arts/ Science, or higher education

Exceptional English skills, written as well as spoken

Experience with SQL, Python and Tableau/Looker

Knowledge of covering gaps in business strategy

Ability to establish relationships with key stakeholders
