For our client, a global All-In-One eCommerce platform, we are looking for a Sales Manager UK working in its London office with the opportunity to partly work remotely. 

 

The Job

 

As Sales Manager UK your main focus will lay on direct sales with the responsibilities of identifying, opening, and driving new business opportunities through to closing and supporting onboarding – across three key verticals – Apparel, Luxury, and Beauty.

 

Day-to-Day

 

  • Research and identify new customers

  • Manage the entirety of the sales process for new prospects

  • Maintain and develop existing and new customer engagement through planned account support and relationship management

  • Grow accounts and be responsible for developing, nurturing, and closing sales opportunities

  • Develop a full understanding of the client’s Global eCommerce Solutions and construct effective sales strategies and value propositions

  • Develop and support necessary marketing initiatives to enable lead generation and prospect identification

  • Contribute to written proposals and RFP responses

  • Conduct market research to identify suitable prospects for targeting of direct sales activities

  • Analyze new technologies and forecast new market trends

  • Work across all the client’s business units to create and position solutions to prospective customers – leveraging all stakeholders in the selling process

 

Required Skills

 

  • At least two years of experience selling B2B solutions focussed around Retail/Pureplay, ideally in the eCommerce platform solutions and/or SaaS solutions space

  • Ability to open doors through the use of social selling and harnessing network connections

  • Demonstrated experience of successfully leading, managing, and closing complex deals

  • Strong analytical, communication, and negotiation skills, with a high degree of persistence and resolve to achieve targets

  • Entrepreneurial mind-set

  • Adept understanding and utilization of digital selling, in conjunction with best-in-class presentation and face to face engagement skills
