Salesforce Business Development Representative – Netherlands (Dutch Speaking)

As a Salesforce Business Development Representative, you will play a crucial role in driving growth and expanding their customer base by generating new business opportunities. This position requires a dynamic and results-oriented individual with a deep understanding of Salesforce products and services. You will be responsible for identifying and qualifying potential clients, establishing initial contact and nurturing leads to facilitate a seamless handover to the sales team.

Responsibilities as a Salesforce Business Development Representative: 

As a Salesforce Business Development Representative, your day-to-day tasks will contain:

  • Prospecting and Lead Generation: Identify and research potential clients in the target market. Utilise Salesforce tools and other resources to generate a robust pipeline of qualified leads
  • Outreach and Engagement: Initiate contact with prospects through various channels, including phone calls, emails, and social media, to create awareness and establish interest in our Salesforce solutions
  • Qualification and Needs Assessment: Conduct thorough needs assessments to understand the challenges and requirements of potential clients. Qualify leads based on established criteria to ensure alignment with our offerings
  • Salesforce Product Knowledge: Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of Salesforce products and services. Effectively communicate how our solutions can address the specific needs and pain points of potential clients
  • Relationship Building: Build and nurture relationships with key decision-makers and influencers. Work collaboratively with the sales team to ensure a smooth transition of qualified leads for further engagement
  • Pipeline Management: Keep accurate and up-to-date records of all interactions and activities in Salesforce CRM. Continuously monitor and manage the sales pipeline to optimise conversion rates

Qualifications/Required Skills for an ideal Salesforce Business Development Representative:

An ideal candidate for the Salesforce Business Development Representative role will need to meet most of these requirements:

  • Salesforce Expertise: Strong understanding of Salesforce products, services and industry trends
  • Sales Acumen: Proven experience in business development, lead generation or sales. Familiarity with B2B sales cycles is advantageous
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to articulate complex concepts in a clear and concise manner
  • Tech-Savvy: Proficient in using CRM tools, specifically Salesforce. Familiarity with sales engagement platforms is a plus
  • Team Collaboration: Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing and customer success
  • Results-Driven: Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed targets and goals. A proactive and self-motivated approach to achieving success
