Senior Account Manager
As a Senior Account Manager, you play a vital role in proactively and reactively nurturing, expanding, and retaining our relationships with the customers from your portfolio. You will join a team of 4, working closely with Partnerships, Business Development and other Account Managers. The communication lines are short and direct. The team members challenge each other on results, agreements and other forms of output.

The Role:

Manage, grow and retain key customers (around 20 international companies);

Support less experienced team mates to make plans and proposals to customers;

Develop and execute strategic implementation- and account plans for each account;

Work closely with other departments with an international team in multiple disciplines including marketing, operations, risk, finance and compliance to give our customers the best possible experience;

Identify revenue enhancement, cost savings, and other optimization opportunities for our customers using the available payment data.

Organize and lead monthly / quarterly account reviews.

Collect, capture, analyze market challenges, industry opportunities, competitor activity etc. in an accurate and effective manner – using it to identify customer needs and develop sales opportunities;

Maintain sales materials and product knowledge, report any new trends in the market, and remain up to date with evolving product functionalities and payment technology – both internally and within the market.
Requirements:

Fluency in English and Dutch is essential; proficiency in additional languages is a plus.

Over 5 years of experience in consultative sales, focusing on mid to large accounts, ideally within the Payments industry.

Strong critical thinking skills, with the ability to analyze data and make informed, data-driven decisions.

Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation abilities, capable of engaging effectively at all levels, including C-suite executives.

A deep understanding of online payments, including knowledge of fraud patterns, detection tools, scheme compliance, risks, and financial reconciliation, is highly advantageous.

A self-motivated, driven individual with the enthusiasm and commitment needed to meet and exceed targets.

Willingness to travel regularly to client sites, primarily across Europe.
