Job Overview
Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Account Manager to join their North America team within their platform partnerships division. This individual will play a pivotal role in driving growth by managing relationships with key partners, including technology companies, SaaS providers, challenger banks, and other major players in the financial technology space.
This role is based in Austin, Texas. Relocation packages are available.
The Senior Account Manager will be responsible for identifying opportunities for growth within an existing portfolio of partners, delivering innovative solutions, and contributing to the expansion of the company’s platform. The role will involve collaboration with cross-functional teams, including product management, engineering, compliance, and business development.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute account plans to drive revenue and volume growth across a portfolio of platform partners.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels, from C-suite executives to product managers.
- Identify and pursue upsell and cross-sell opportunities to enhance partner engagement and generate mutual success.
- Lead quarterly business reviews (QBRs) and facilitate data-driven discussions with partners to align on strategic objectives.
- Work closely with internal teams to improve product offerings and implement new partnership integrations.
- Demonstrate expertise in payments, providing thought leadership on complex industry topics.
- Contribute to regional and global strategy through initiatives focused on product innovation, pricing, and market expansion.
Qualifications
- At least 5-10 years of experience in account management or enterprise sales within the payments or fintech industry.
- Proven success in growing accounts and driving revenue in the software or financial services sectors.
- Strong ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders, including CEOs, heads of payments, and innovation leaders.
- Solid understanding of the North American fintech landscape and cross-border payment systems.
- Technical proficiency in working with integrated solutions and negotiating commercial and legal terms.
- A hands-on, detail-oriented approach with the ability to lead partner calls and collaborate with internal teams to meet objectives.
