Security Network Engineer (m/f/d)

Berlin, Stuttgart, Hannover, Hamburg or Leipzig

We are looking for experienced Network Security Engineers for a German Cybersecurity client with over 60 years of market presence.

Main Tasks:

Planning, implementing, and maintaining security measures to prevent and respond to network attacks.

Network Security: Monitoring and analyzing network traffic, identifying vulnerabilities, and conducting penetration tests to close security gaps.

Security Policies and Standards: Development and implementation of security policies, procedures, and standards to ensure network security.

Incident Response: Responding to security incidents, investigating security breaches, and implementing solutions for troubleshooting.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • German and English language fluency
  • Completed degree in computer science, information security, or a comparable qualification.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Security Network Engineer or in a similar role.
  • Knowledge of network technologies and protocols, including firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and encryption.
  • Experience with security assessments, penetration tests, and vulnerability management.
  • Certifications such as CCNA or equivalent credentials are advantageous.
  • Good knowledge of security standards and policies such as ISO 27001 or ISA/IEC 62443.
