Our US-based client is a mature crypto payments start-up that is building out their fraud team. They are seeking a Senior Payments and Risk Manager for a newly created role to lead this team and oversee internal risk and fraud operations.
Primary Objectives for the Payments & Risk Manager:
* Develop a comprehensive understanding of areas of risk for the organization; develop and manage strategies to mitigate the risk
* Analyze large quantities of data to identify fraud patterns
* Define and monitor fraud related KPIs
* Monitor, analyze and report fraud/chargeback status to all levels to the leadership and stakeholders
* Oversee the chargeback response process
* Coordinate efforts to maintain strong partnerships with outside service providers and key internal partners
Qualities of the Future Payments and Risk Sr. Manager:
* 7+ years of experience in the card payments industry
* Knowledge of the cryptocurrency ecosystem
* Strong understanding of risk management in a CNP (card not present) environment
* Experience with analytics tools such as SQL, Tableau
* Demonstrated ability to effectively analyze data, develop insights and present conclusions and recommendations to all levels of the organization
