Our client is a leading company in the open banking infrastructure sector, committed to enabling innovative businesses to create better and more equitable financial services for everyone. Their platform addresses a critical issue in today's financial services landscape: access. They challenge traditional financial structures by providing secure, behind-the-scenes connections for companies—ranging from growing startups to large enterprises—to access financial data and initiate payments on a global scale.

They are seeking a highly motivated and proactive Strategic Account Manager to join their team. This role is essential for managing and nurturing relationships with their key accounts while being actively involved in daily operations and onboarding processes. The ideal candidate is passionate about delivering outstanding customer experiences, has strong business acumen, and excels in both strategic and operational roles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key strategic accounts, engaging with stakeholders from the C-suite to operational levels.

  • Serve as the main point of contact for all commercial matters, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction and loyalty.

  • Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities within existing accounts to drive growth.

  • Understand clients' business objectives and develop strategic plans to support their success.

  • Collaborate with internal teams to align strategies and achieve business goals.

  • Contribute to product development by providing insights based on customer needs and strategic objectives.

  • Engage in daily operations to ensure seamless service delivery.

  • Lead the onboarding process for new strategic accounts, ensuring a smooth transition and integration.

  • Quickly address operational challenges to maintain high service standards.

  • Work closely with sales, customer success, product, and support teams to ensure client success.

  • Promote cross-functional collaboration to deliver comprehensive solutions to clients.

  • Participate in internal meetings to share client insights and feedback.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Proven experience in a strategic account management role.

  • Strong understanding of business operations and hands-on experience in managing daily operations.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to develop and implement strategic plans.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

  • Proficiency in CRM software and other business tools.

  • A track record of exceeding targets as an individual contributor.

  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for new challenges.

  • Knowledge of open banking, API technologies, and related trends.
