As a System Engineer, you will join the company’s Infrastructure and System Business Unit.
Your key responsibilities are :
- Keep up with trends in the constantly evolving information technology industry related to your scope of responsibility.
- Provide guidance and properly documented procedures to the Technical Operations team, who will take in charge all recurrent tasks.
- Automate recurrent tasks whenever it’s possible.
- Ensure the successful implementation of new environments, requested by different project teams, as well as their maintenance during the project life and after the go-live (production support).
- Communicate efficiently with third parties (software editors, hosting companies, etc.) and colleagues, who could be present onsite or working remotely, sometimes in a different time zone.
- Participate to meetings, understand and, if necessary, challenge client’s requirements (final client or internal project team).
- Respect the processes and best practices, apply the recommendations given by the Team lead and Architecture team.
- Be a team player and share your knowledge and findings with other team members.
Requirements :Â
- First experience in the same field of expertise
- English is mandatory, French will be considered an advantage
Technical Skills :
Good transversal knowledge on:
- CI/CD (Git / Jenkins / JFrog)
- WildFly (JBoss)
- Bash / PowerShell scripting
- Cloud concept
- IT Security common sense.
Knowledge and/or working experience with the below technologies and tools will be considered as an advantage:
- Docker / Temenos Pre-image kits
- Kubernetes (Advanced knowledge, pods / container / cluster / internal network / vault) yaml files
- Helm (install / upgrade / … ) yaml files
- Kafka / DES
- ActiveMQ
