Key Account Manager – Financial Services

You will be part of a national sales organization focused on long-term, sustainable business development. In this position, you will work with major banking clients, supporting strategic initiatives and strengthening key partnerships.
What You Will Do
Client Relationship Management

Build and maintain strong, enduring relationships with key banking partners.

Act as a trusted advisor by understanding client business models, challenges, and long-term goals.

Maintain regular, proactive communication to ensure satisfaction and continuity.
Strategic Account Planning

Develop tailored account strategies aimed at retention and revenue growth.

Identify opportunities to expand adoption of the company’s financial products and services.
Work closely with marketing and product teams to shape customized offerings.
Internal Collaboration

Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., product, marketing, risk, compliance, legal) to ensure smooth delivery.

Coordinate internal specialists to support complex solutions, transactions, and project needs.
Performance & Reporting

Track account performance and client engagement, highlighting areas for improvement.

Prepare briefings, updates, and presentations for internal stakeholders and management.

Monitor industry developments and competitive activity to support client strategy.
Business Development

Identify growth opportunities within existing accounts and support their development.

Assist in onboarding new strategic clients and ensure seamless integration into the organization.
What You Bring
- Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field (Master’s a plus).
- At least 5 years of experience in account management, relationship banking, corporate finance, or similar roles
- Demonstrated success managing complex, high-value client portfolios within financial services.
- Solid understanding of banking products, processes, and regulatory considerations.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities.
- Analytical mindset with confidence in working with financial and market data.
- Experience with CRM tools and MS Office.
- Fluency in German.
