About Our Client

As a Tax Specialist, you will play a crucial role in managing and optimising tax processes, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and advising on tax related matters across the group's subsidiaries and branches. You will work closely with internal stakeholders and external consultants to support the company's growth and financial strategy.

Your Role

  • Oversee all tax related topics within the group, leveraging support from external tax consultants as needed.
  • Manage tax matters across the company, its subsidiaries, and branches, ensuring timely and accurate preparation and filing of tax returns.
  • Develop and implement robust tax processes to meet various regulatory requirements.
  • Provide tax advisory support to business units, particularly regarding the tax treatment of new financial products.
  • Serve as the primary liaison with internal and external auditors, ensuring timely documentation and compliance.

  • 5+ years of tax related experience in Finance, Accounting, or Auditing.
  • Strong understanding of IFRS, HGB, and German Tax Law.
  • Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word; familiarity with SAP S4/Hana is a plus.
  • Fluent in English and German.
  • Self reliant with a proactive mindset and the ability to adapt to a fast growing environment.
  • Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and integrity.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Results driven, able to manage multiple priorities effectively.
