Let’s face it, 2020 hasn’t exactly been the year we were expecting. But it isn’t all doom and gloom. Out of the chaos, some truly innovative projects and collaborations have been born. As evidenced by the quality of nominations the Emerging Payments Association received for this year’s Emerging Payments Awards.
So with this year’s Christmas parties looking unlikely, the EPA has pulled out all the stops to make the Emerging Payments Awards a truly fun, engaging celebration of this year’s successes, but from the socially distanced comfort of your homes and offices.
Here’s a sneak peak of what you can expect…
Awards Host
Sara Pascoe is an award winning comedian and writer. She is the writer, star and executive producer of the BBC series, ‘Out of Her Mind,’ and host of ‘Guessable’ (Comedy Central) and ‘Comedians Giving Lectures‘ (Dave). Sara Pascoe is the 2020 EP Awards host.
Celeb Appearances
A few celebrity favourites will be ‘popping in’ to say a few words. Their identities will be kept a surprise until the night but, we hope “all you cool cats and kittens” “hoff a great time!”
Fireside Chat
Marion King, Group Director of Payments for NatWest, will be joining us for an exclusive fireside chat to discuss the importance of the payments value chain and share some exclusive insights into the innovations we can expect for 2021.
EPA After Party
Get those outrageous shirts and fancy frocks on over your pyjamas. Treat yourself to a VIP pass, crack open a bottle of bubbly and celebrate with your industry peers. The EPA has invested in the best networking platform around which pairs you up with like-minded people.
While the Emerging Payments Awards ceremony is free to attend, VIP passes are available to purchase so you can celebrate in style. Treat your team to a drink and celebrate together virtually – bottles of bubbly will be sent direct to your doors.
You can now save 10% off your VIP passes with the code PCN10.
In true community spirit, a percentage of this year’s ticket sales will also be donated to the charity MIND. With the help of EPA member ForGoodCauses and the support of their Project Recovery Team the EPA is honoured to be giving something back. After all, it is a community organisation, and community has never been more important than it is now.
So get your passes purchased, your glad rags on, and join us on the 26th November to celebrate whilst giving something back at the same time.
