Their core infrastructure integrates distributed ledger technology with traditional banking rails to solve real problems around liquidity and settlement latency. The role
This is not a ticket-resolving server role. The successful candidate will be the architect of production resilience for a platform that moves millions in transaction volume — owning a sophisticated AWS multi-account environment where downtime simply isn't an option. The role spans private EKS clusters, cross-account IAM patterns, and automated GitOps workflows, building infrastructure as innovative as the financial products it supports.
Key responsibilities
- Infrastructure evolution — Maintaining and extending modular Terraform stacks across multiple environments.
- Kubernetes orchestration — Owning the full lifecycle of private EKS clusters including managed node groups, OIDC/IRSA integrations, and KMS encryption.
- GitOps & delivery — Managing automated GitOps workflows and keeping deployment pipelines clean and reliable.
- Security hardening — Enforcing least privilege across a multi-account setup using cross-account IAM assume-role patterns and AWS Secrets Manager.
- Platform orchestration — Maintaining the Helm-managed stack and automating repetitive operational tasks.
- AI-assisted operations — Leveraging modern LLMs and AI tooling to automate routine maintenance and accelerate debugging.
Requirements
- AWS expertise — deep experience with multi-account structures, workload isolation, and core networking.
- Terraform proficiency — comfortable building and consuming reusable, environment-based modules.
- Production EKS experience — real-world management of EKS clusters with a focus on security hardening and automated scaling.
- Data reliability — solid grasp of RDS PostgreSQL operations including performance tuning and maintenance windows.
- Security-by-design mindset — proven ability to implement the principle of least privilege and manage data protection at scale.
Nice to have
- Experience with blockchain or distributed ledger infrastructure.
- Scripting ability to automate cloud operations.
- Comfortable using LLMs to accelerate workflow while maintaining an “always verify” approach.
- Familiarity with compliance frameworks such as SOC2, DORA, or ISO27001.
