PCN Pulse- Facebook rebrands as Meta, Klarna launches one-stop shopping app, Volt partners with Worldline

This week, in the midst of the ethical controversy, Facebook has a major rebrand and will relaunch as Meta. Cloud-based clearing bank ClearBank will start working with Chip to offer Chip digital savings account that is FSCS protected on deposits. Merchants on Stripe’s platform will now offer Klarna’s flexible Buy Now Pay Later option to its consumers and Klarna launches a one-stop shopping app. Volt, London-based leading open payments gateway and PCN’s client, announced a new partnership with Worldline, the European leader in the payments and transactional services, to give over 600 merchants global access to Volt’s open payments infrastructure. Microsoft announces ambitious plans to cut cybersecurity workplace shortage in half by 2025 with a partnership with community colleges across the US.
