Position Overview:
This leadership role managing a team of 80+ individuals that are responsible for driving new customer acquisition, account development, and overall growth within the small business customer segment.
The role oversees the areas of Telesales, Tailored Sales, Field Sales, Aftersales, and Customer Retention, including both functional and disciplinary leadership. It carries full accountability for departmental P&L, sales performance, and revenue generation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide disciplinary and functional leadership to internal sales teams across Telesales, Tailored Sales, Field Sales, Aftersales, and Retention.
- Collaborate with Marketing to develop contact strategies and campaign initiatives for customer acquisition and retention.
- Create strategic campaign plans and decision-making frameworks for senior management.
- Analyze customer potential and assess implementation strategies across the complete product, service, and solution portfolio.
- Deliver regular performance and revenue reporting.
- Develop and implement efficiency initiatives to enhance sales outcomes and revenue, and support continuous improvement across sales functions.
- Monitor and manage targets across the full customer lifecycle.
- Oversee departmental budget and costs, with particular attention to acquisition efficiency and commission models.
- Identify and pursue new sales opportunities, including those through affiliated entities.
- Lead professional and personal development initiatives for department staff.
- Drive the development of new sales channels and expand existing ones.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and internal policies.
