Your Role
- AFC Governance lead and Quality Assurance.
- Continuous advice on the enhancement of products for existing cooperation partners from the various business units.
- Support with the on boarding of new cooperation partners and products.
- Assessing of Third Party Risk Assessment (TPRA) and Modification of Operational Processes and Structure (MOPS).
- Preparation and implementation of training courses.
- Monitoring the performance of cooperation partners with regard to AFC compliance issues and communication with the respective partner managers.
- Extension of the documentation of processes.
- Instruction and professional support for employees and cooperation partners.
- Coordination of regulator requests and Internal and/or External Auditors.
- Preparation of Annual AFC Report, ExCo report governance.

- Extensive experience (5+ years) in anti financial crime compliance within the financial services industry, with a focus on advisory and strategy development.
- In depth knowledge of German and EU regulations pertaining to anti money laundering, sanctions, and fraud prevention.
- Detailed expertise in fraud, sanctions and embargo related topics.
- Proven track record of leading successful AFC initiatives, including risk assessments, policy development, and implementation of controls.
- Experience with local regulators is a plus.
- Ability to work well under pressure, different priorities, and tight deadlines.
- Professional certifications such as CAMS (Certified Anti Money Laundering Specialist) or ACAMS (Association of Certified Anti Money Laundering Specialists) preferred.
- A good understanding of AI driven solutions.
- Fluency in English and German is required.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex regulatory requirements and assess their impact on business operations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
