• Type: Full-time
• Compensation: Competitive + strong benefits
• Start Date: As soon as possible

About the Company

PCN is partnering with an innovative fintech group that empowers private and professional investors with digital tools to make informed investment decisions. Backed by a major European private equity firm, the company is entering a new growth phase by unifying its business units under one strategic umbrella.

With well-known platforms in the DACH region, including a popular financial news portal, a zero-fee trading app, and a leading provider of financial data and tools for semi-professional investors, the group is on a mission to become the go-to investment platform in Europe.

About the Role

We are seeking a (Senior) Product Manager to lead the “Investment Discovery & Guidance” vertical. You’ll be responsible for shaping how users search, analyze, and select investments, working directly with the Chief Product Officer.

Your goal: Design and deliver an outstanding user experience that makes investing simple, transparent, and empowering.

Responsibilities

  • Product Ownership: Own the full user journey—from research to investment decision-making. Define the strategy, build the roadmap, and prioritize features aligned with company goals.
  • User Research: Identify opportunities through user research, data analysis, and market feedback. Validate ideas before development begins.
  • Hands-On Delivery: Work closely with design and engineering to prototype, write user stories, and deliver high-quality features.
  • End-to-End Management: Manage the complete lifecycle of features—from ideation and development to launch and continuous improvement.
  • KPI-Driven: Set measurable goals for your product features and ensure these are tracked and achieved.
  • User-Centric Design: Collaborate with UX/UI to create intuitive and effective solutions that empower users to make smart investment decisions.
  • Technical Awareness: Work closely with engineers to ensure scalability, feasibility, and robust system integration.
  • AI & Innovation: Embrace AI tools in your workflow and explore how emerging technologies can enhance your product area.
  • Agile Methods: Run sprints, manage backlogs, and keep communication clear and efficient across the team.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Align with other PMs, business units, partners, and, where applicable, regulatory interfaces.

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience: 5+ years as a Product Manager, including 2+ years in fintech or B2C environments
  • Product Instincts: Strong sense of what makes a great digital product and the ability to identify impactful solutions
  • Data Fluency: Skilled in working with data, generating hypotheses, and making informed decisions
  • Tech Affinity: Familiar with APIs, scalable systems, and close collaboration with technical teams
  • Growth Mindset: Curious, driven, and focused on making a tangible impact
  • Communication Skills: Clear communicator, able to inspire teams and tell compelling product stories
  • Startup Experience: Ideally, experience in fast-paced, scaling environments
  • Fintech Passion: Experience in investment products is a plus, but passion for financial empowerment is essential
  • Ownership Mentality: Independent, entrepreneurial, and proactive in solving challenges

What You Can Expect

  • Impactful Work: Shape the future of investing and develop tools that help users build long-term wealth
  • Flexible Working: Remote-first within Germany; optional office access in Karlsruhe or Munich
  • Workation-Friendly: Temporary remote work from elsewhere in Europe possible
  • Development: Access to training, conferences, and a network of industry professionals
  • Team Culture: Quarterly meetups, sports events, summer & winter parties, and team-driven initiatives
  • Additional Perks: Company pension, public transport subsidies, employee parking discounts, dog-friendly office, and more
