About the role

As a crucial member of the Business Development Team you will help design and execute the team’s sales and growth strategy. You will be an expert in open banking, challenging, guiding and leading our client's transformation.

This position is an opportunity for someone who wants to build a strong network and become a trusted advisor to leading European financial institutions.

The key tasks of your role will include

  • Build a strong network and become a trusted advisor to leading financial institutions and FinTech companies as well as successfully position as the future of banking technology
  • Generate sales and create new business opportunities, while managing sales processes and together with central functions reach a final commercial agreement
  • Execute short-term strategy while maintaining a vision for long-term sustained success
  • Lead workshops and meetings with key customer stakeholders to better identify client needs and match them with offering
  • Build brand awareness, plan and lead marketing activities for the region and drive successful marketing projects
  • Represent us at conferences and other public speaking events

About you and what you will need to have

  • University degree in Business Administration, Management, Computer Science or related discipline
  • 5+ years experience successful sales experience, ideally selling SaaS/financial solutions 
  • Understanding of the digital/online banking industry
  • Previous experience of working in a high growth international technology company
  • A continuous track record of achieving ambitious sales targets
  • Strong negotiation skills and experience of driving negotiations to a close, both individually and through colleagues and partners
  • Native/fluent in German and English
  • Network in the German banking and financial eco-system is a plus
