Job Title: Senior Account Executive – Financial Services & Payments

Overview:
A leading global payments and financial technology company is looking for a Senior Account Executive to manage and grow strategic relationships with clients in the financial services and banking sector. In this role, you will be responsible for expanding account value, identifying new opportunities, and ensuring delivery teams align with evolving client needs.
As the key point of contact for your portfolio, you will work with internal delivery, operations, and commercial teams—both locally and internationally—to support clients across a range of innovative digital payment solutions.
Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Account Management: Own and grow key financial services accounts by developing deep client relationships and identifying new revenue opportunities.

Business Development: Identify and pursue new market opportunities across the banking and fintech landscape in the Netherlands and beyond.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with delivery, operations, and product teams to ensure optimal client experiences and long-term value creation.

Consultative Selling: Translate complex IT capabilities into business-focused solutions tailored to banks, PSPs, and regulated financial institutions.

Market Engagement: Support pre-sales activities and conduct market research to stay ahead of industry trends and evolving client needs.
About You:

10+ years of experience in enterprise-level account management, business development, or client success, preferably within financial services, fintech, or payments.

Strong commercial instincts, with the ability to identify client pain points and craft compelling solutions.

Fluent in both Dutch and English, with excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

Adept at navigating complex organizations and engaging with senior-level stakeholders.

Passion for innovation in the financial ecosystem and an understanding of how regulatory, compliance, and payment infrastructure shape business decisions.
