According to Gartner Inc’s forecasting report, worldwide end-user spending on security and risk management is projected to total $215 billion in 2024, an increase of 14.3% from 2023. In 2023, global security and risk management end-user spending is estimated to reach $188.1 billion.

1. Chief Information Security Officer (CISO)

Ideally, they are expected to possess strong communication and leadership skills, as they often lead teams and are involved in the training and implementation of computer security policies and procedures throughout an organization.

5. Information Technology Security Consultant 

An information technology (IT) security consultant offers specialized advice and direction to organizations regarding IT security. Their main responsibility involves evaluating an organization’s IT infrastructure, systems, and processes to pinpoint vulnerabilities, assess risks, and propose suitable security measures.
