Senior Account Executive – The Hague

Our client is a Benelux-headquartered B2B SaaS scale-up in the Governance, Risk, and Compliance space, serving regulated organisations across financial services and the public sector. Their integrated platform covers Business Process Management, Risk and Compliance, and Audit — known for fast implementations, flexibility, and strong usability. With an established customer base and growing international ambitions, they are now expanding their commercial team.
The Opportunity
This is a full-cycle, enterprise-facing sales role with real ownership and visibility. You will manage the entire deal journey — from prospecting and qualification through to close and client onboarding — navigating complex buying committees at Director, VP, and C-suite level across highly regulated organisations.

What You Will Do
- Run the full sales cycle: outreach, qualification, close, and client handover
- Engage Director, VP, and C-level stakeholders across complex, multi-stakeholder buying processes in regulated sectors
- Manage a portfolio of high-value enterprise and mid-market deals with extended sales cycles
- Maintain a disciplined pipeline and accurate forecasts to consistently hit quarterly and annual targets
- Build account-specific outreach, run structured discovery calls, and deliver tailored demos for a global client base
- Collaborate with SDRs, marketing, and product to sharpen pipeline quality and improve conversion
- Develop long-term client relationships, positioning the platform as a strategic solution — not just a vendor
- Feed market intelligence back into sales messaging and process as the business scales internationally
About You
- 5+ years closing complex B2B SaaS deals at enterprise or mid-market level, ideally in financial services or a regulated sector
- Confident influencing and aligning senior stakeholders across long, multi-party decision processes
- Strong commercial instincts — you qualify well, frame value clearly, and know when to close
- Self-directed and entrepreneurial, with genuine ownership of your results
- Collaborative across sales, marketing, product, and leadership
- Articulate and credible in writing and in person, at all seniority levels
- Fluent in Dutch and English
Nice to have:
- Sales experience in financial services, public sector, or regulated industries
- Knowledge of GRC, Risk, Compliance, or Internal Audit
- Experience with HubSpot or a comparable CRM
- International sales exposure
