Senior Sales Manager 

 

The Company:

A progressive company focused on combating financial fraud by verifying millions of identities for various financial entities including banks, neobanks, online brokers, crypto exchanges, and insurance companies. Founded in January 2018, they now have around 250 employees working from Amsterdam and Barcelona offices, representing over 50 different nationalities.

The role:

As they move into a next phase of growth with substantial venture capital support and strong leadership, they are looking for a Senior Sales Manager to lead our efforts in the Traditional Finance sector. In this role, you will be crucial in establishing market presence by building relationships and closing deals with traditional finance clients such as banks, brokers, and wealth management firms. You will manage complex sales cycles with regulated companies, acting as the primary point of contact and convincing clients to adopt our advanced onboarding and monitoring solutions.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement market entry strategies for the Traditional Finance sector.
  • Collaborate with Business Development, Marketing, and Consultancy partners to build a robust sales pipeline.
  • Represent the company at industry events and trade shows.
  • Navigate and manage complex enterprise sales cycles with extended lead times, engaging with C-level executives, business managers, compliance officers, legal teams, technical staff, procurement departments, and product managers.

Qualifications:

  • At least 12 years of experience in consultative sales within the enterprise software industry.
  • Experience in selling to Tier 1 & 2 Financial Institutions and Traditional Finance firms, ideally across multiple European countries.
  • Demonstrated success in managing large sales pipelines and closing deals effectively.
  • Strong ability to support prospective clients throughout the vendor selection process while maintaining a strategic advantage.
  • Exceptional relationship-building skills and the ability to influence key decision-makers.
